ABOUT

Jackson Joyce is an aspiring composer, arranger, performer, and educator. A native of Stillwater, OK, Joyce studies saxophone with Dr. Sarah Hetrick at the University of Arkansas. His musical influence comes from late romantic and popular styles, drawing influence from early impressionism to fusion metal. He is an avid orchestrator for winds, and has written several arrangements for the Razorback Marching Band, as well as the University of Arkansas, University of Colorado Boulder, and Owasso High School saxophone ensembles. Joyce's works have been performed across the country, from the Great Plains Saxophone Workshop to Interlochen Arts Camp. Joyce's favorite color is green and has a dog named Fozzie.
